Australia is the sixth most targeted country in the world for major cybersecurity attacks, and the frequency and severity of attacks is increasing.

One of the most common threats is phishing, which increased 44% in the year to August 2020. While we help to protect our customers from cyber attacks using technology, it’s the end users that are often the first line of defence against common threats like phishing, which are delivered direct to employees via email. To address this, Forsythes Technology regularly delivers on-site Security Awareness Training sessions for our customers.

With the ongoing COVID restrictions, coupled with our desire to provide training to as many users as possible, we will be conducting monthly virtual Security Awareness Training sessions from July 2021.
