Forsythes Technology was first engaged by Lifestyle Solutions to install a telephony system into a small office of 10 users. Fifteen years on, and that number has grown to 2,100+ users across multiple sites in Australia, and full end-to-end management of its 750+ Telstra voice and data services.

Our proven experience and expertise in managing Lifestyle Solutions telephony and mobile services led the organisation to engage us to manage its network services and Cloud hosting.

Forsythes Technology’s Managed Network services cover 11 key Lifestyle Solutions sites including Newcastle, Darwin, Hobart and many other locations in between. The network, based on the fast and reliable Telstra NextIP network, has been designed to suit Lifestyle Solutions usage requirements and provides connectivity for both voice and data. Key sites also have a backup 4GX connection with automatic failover in the event of a service fault.  Advanced network device monitoring and management by Forsythes Technology for the Juniper and Cradlepoint equipment ensures Lifestyle Solutions is always online and able to deliver its important service to the community.

In addition to managed network services, Forsythes Technology Cloud hosts Lifestyle Solutions’ server infrastructure in a fast and secure environment protected by a managed high availability corporate firewall. Geographically separated offsite backups and redundant internet connections for failover provides further resiliency.

Forsythes Technology cloud hosting reduces the need to purchase and house server hardware on-site. It also provides the flexibility to quickly upgrade the capacity as required and minimises the resources needed within Lifestyle Solutions to manage on-site servers.

While Lifestyle Solutions has the in-house knowledge to manage the day-to-day operations of its business telephony, Forsythes Technology assists with more advanced configurations. Lifestyle Solutions uses Mitel Teleworker for remote working across a number of sites, and across Telstra’s Next IP network.

Through our responsive service desk, Lifestyle Solutions has a single point of contact with Forsythes Technology (and our vendors such as Telstra). The service desk acts as a one-stop-shop for all incidents, questions or requests relating to telephony, mobile devices and the hosted network.
